先日の続き。

スイッチャー（スイッチングシステム）、パワーサプライのメーカーとして知られるtheGigRigの社長がEdと最新のペダルボードを考案中とツイート。
そのtheGigRig社のスイッチングシステム theGigRig G2（ボード左下）が組み込まれた最新ペダルボードが公開されています。

EdとPhilが刑務所（囚人のために昨年の秋に実施された政府による法案変更の一部）で、スチール弦を使用したギターが禁止されている事について、英国法務大臣に抗議する嘆願書に著名しているそうです。

刑務所で保管または収容者の使用するギターの殆どがスチール弦が張られているが、この変更によりナイロン弦を張ったギターのみが使用を許可されることになり、殆どのギターが決められた音楽の授業や監視された上で行われるセッション以外では完全にロックされた場所にギターが保管されてしまうことを意味する。
ナイロン弦を本来のスチール弦のギターに張ったところで用途が違うし、音楽は囚人にとってリハビリテーションの過程で重要な役割があるのに収容人がグループセッションで練習できなければその効果も徐々に損なわれると訴え、法案の変更からの最近の自殺者の増加もあり、なぜスチール弦のギターのみが禁止になったかの説明を求めています。

EdとPhilの他にもJohnny MarrやPink FloydのDavid Gilmourらも著名しているようです。
