Hello,
we are a Japanese Radiohead tribute band called OAS. we usually play only Radiohead songs but this time,
we are playing THE SMILE SET at the warehouse in NEW YORK.

it will be happening on the 17th of November,
Yes, it is the night before THE SMILE show in NEW YORK.

We can't carry all of our instruments and the warehouse is not the music venue..
so we may not be able to play as usual but ... we are bringing our instruments as we can.
(we booked a direct flight from Japan for this!)
and our friends who live in NY always support us....
Above all, for us, playing our favourite songs in other countries as a tribute band is so happy and one of our dream...so we will try our best.


Very limited tickets available. (only 40...not 400! it's good numbers for us for the first time, isn't it?).

今年5月、デビューアルバムリリースに合わせておこなったThe Smileのフィーチャーイベント、「The Smile Room」
きっと1回では終わらないだろうと01としておこないましたが、02の開催が決定しました。

2回目となる今回はいきなりですが海外、ニューヨークでの開催です！
The Smileの公演、11/18,19,20のニューヨーク3DAYSに合わせ、The Smileの生のライブを楽しむ前の前夜にあたる 17日にやります。

今回は現地のミュージシャンでRadiohead/The SmileのファンでもあるANNIEさんを迎え、Radioheadの楽曲を演奏していただきます。 そしてOASも1時間以上のライブを予定しています。
日本とはだいぶ環境も異なるだけでなく、限られた量の楽器しかもっていけないので、ああだこうだと工夫をしている最中です。。
予想以上に会場確保に大苦戦し、今回は倉庫の一室、定員40人という環境ではありますが、あちらでもアットホームなパーティー感のある、そして本家のライブ前に来てくれた方のテンションを上げられるようなイベントができたらいいなぁと思ってます。
