9月30日にリリースされるSteve Reichのアルバム "Radio Rewrite" に収録されるJonnyのパフォーマンスによるElectric Counterpointが先週の土曜、BBC Radio 6 MusicでおなじみのMary Anne Hobbsがゲストホストを務めるBBC Radio 3 の番組 Saturday Classicsで初オンエアされました。

Electric Counterpoint: III. Fast

Steve Reich(スティーヴ・ライヒ)がRadioheadの楽曲（ Everything In Its Right Place」「Jigsaw Falling Into Place」）からインスピレーションを得た作品「Radio Rewrite」を収めた同タイトルのアルバムがJonnyも所属するNonesuch Recordsから9月30日に発売されます。

このアルバムにJonnyの演奏する「Electric Counterpoint」が収録されます。

Jonnyとオーストラリア室内管弦楽団（ACO）、とのコラボレーションとなる'Water'の初公演とされていたACOのオーストラリア公演（7/27ニュース参照）の前にヨーロッパでツアーすることが発表されました。
SPINによると、オーストラリア公演のある10月の初め、10月2日にダブリンを皮切りにロンドン、バーミンガム、そしてオーストラリアへと続く模様。詳細はまだ発表されていない様です。

JonnyとLCO Soloistsによる10月10日にマンチェスターで行われるコンサートのチケットは本日より発売開始。

9月からリハやレコーディングを開始すると明らかにしたJonnyがSunday TimesにThomに音源をメールしているとも語っています。

「実は昨晩、Thomに音源をメールしてたんだよね。だけど同じ様にはいかないよね？舌打ちとかみれないしさ。」
「リリース？ノー。わかんないよ。まったく。計画といえば、ぼちぼち音楽作り始めようかって。ちょうどあの無気力さを取りもどす感覚を得たとこなんだ。」

また、COSでは新作の収録の可能性があるとされる未発表曲が紹介されています。
