近年のアナログレコードの復活を探るドキュメンタリー『The Vinyl Revival』がDVD化され4月にリリースされます。

Philのインタヴュー等も含まれているそうです。

だいぶ前にPhilが「何か」の為に音楽を制作中というニュース（こちら）があったのですが、このことだったようです。

今年４月に公開の映画「Carmilla 」（英国のロマンティックホラー映画..のようです）のサウンドトラックを担当したとこと。

Oxfordの37年続く老舗ベニュー、The Cellarが厳しい火災条例規制によりキャパシティの制限(150から60)を受け、閉鎖の危機に憤し、向こう5週間で8万ポンドを集めないと、12月に完全閉鎖となることに。
2017年には大家が商業スペースとして再開発しようとし、1万4000人が嘆願書に署名とキャンペーンによるサポートでその危機を免れたばかり。

このまま閉店させてはいけないとCellar Foreverキャンペーンが発足。
Philを始め、地元のミュージシャンらが立ち上がっています。

寄付はクラウドファウンディング方式となっていて、寄付額によって特典があり、
20ポンドでPhilが使用していたスネアが当たるという抽選チケットの購入枠もあります。

Radioheadは7月19日、2012年のステージ崩壊事故以来初となるトロント公演を行なった。

ライヴ中、Thomは
「僕らはトロントで公演をやりたいと思った。そしたらステージが崩落し、我々の仕事仲間である友達が亡くなった。
君達の街にいる、責任を取るべき人々が未だに責任を取っていない。クソ静まりかえってる。」
といい、メンバーも皆立って、観客にも黙祷を呼びかけ、その後"Karma Police"を演奏するというシーンがありました。



2012年6月16日、カナダ・トロント公演のライブ前のステージ崩壊事故で、ドラム・テクニシャンのScott Johnsonが亡くなり、他数名が負傷。
バンド側はライブ・ネイション・カナダ他の、ジョンソンの死に関わったとされる当事者に対しての賠償を求めていたが、昨年9月に裁判を停止することが発表されていた。
バンド側は、ジョンソンの遺族らと共にカナダ当局に呼びかけ、その後事故に対しての調査を実現させている。

ライヴ前夜の7月18日にはPhilがBBCの「Newsnight」に出演し、停止された訴訟についてのフラストレーションを吐露しています。
