この曲はピアノソロの作品で、収録されたアルバム等はまだなく、コンサートのみで少数の選ばれたピアニストによってのみ演奏されてきました。
Jonnyによると、有名なピアニスト  Glenn Gouldの"and by the glorious mechanics of the thing." に触発されたとのこと。作品は、slow と fastのムーブメントから構成されていて、"高度なレベルのプレーヤーに適した"作品にしたとか。
