ThomがAtoms For Peaceのニューアルバム「AMOK」について正式発表。

So finally I can tell you the Atoms for Peace record is coming out on the 25th February, it's called Amok.

The front will look like theez..

We formed to learn to play The Eraser record, if you don't know that, and discovered a really good energy doing that.. and it fell into this record.

I'm still reeling from being on tour for much of the year but we are planning to get together and play etc next year !
We're figuring all that out right now.

Atoms is a ongoing and open ended project, where it leads i know not for certain .... which is what is nice about it.

僕らはThe Eraserの曲を演奏するために結成したんだ。知らない人のために言うとね。それで本当にいいエナジーでやれることを発見しちゃって..このレコードに詰め込んだんだ。
僕はこの一年のほとんどツアーやっててまだへとへとなんだけど、来年は集まってプレイしようって計画してる！
いまはそれを練っているところだよ。
Atomsは継続的で無制限なプロジェクトでどこへたどりつくかわからない...いいところはそこだよ」

アルバムのトラックリストについては11月上旬にXLレコーディングスが発表し、すぐに削除した情報と同じですが、発売日に変更があった模様。発売日は1月28日ではなく2月25日(月)。
アルバムはCD（通常盤／デラックス盤）LP（通常盤／デラックス盤　共にCD付き）、ダウンロードでリリース。

Atoms For Peaceのオフィシャルサイト（日本語版はこちら）も一新され、アルバムの予約受付開始。
また、サイト内の隠しリンク（時計台クリック）から「Default」12インチに収録されているB面曲「What The Eyeballs Did」がフリーダウンロードできます。
